The city of Talca is divided in two by the railroad and the panamerican road in the north–south axis. Surrounding the surviving train station, a surface of 8 hectares remains almost abandoned in between both urban barriers.
The new local city planning doubles -and more- the existent urban area, leaving the plot strategically positioned for the future connectivity of the city. A masterplan is proposed for the railway sector that generates a new arrival impression to the city and an internal reorganization.
A “hotspot” was difened by cybernauts as a place of access, in this case, Elia Zenghelis’ quote of Andrea Branzi is added: “The city is like a toilet: you can build a bathroom as big as you want… but there is only one hot-spot”

i found your site via thecoolhunter.net
i must say that i like your graphics simple, diagrammatic, and eye catching i have yet to see a arch firm website presented in this fashion, i feel like it helps bring arch off a sometimes pretentious pedestal and down to a common ground.
good stuff!
